Scholarship Recipients and Grants

PERPETUAL SCHOLARSHIP TROPHY
The 2k4ids, The Kari and Keira Lyn Parker Foundation perpetual trophy will reside at each of the school's at which scholarships are given away on early basis. The inaugural trophy will be kept at the foundation headquarters and will hold each and every scholarship recipients name and year. Each school will have a duplicate award which will be engraved with just those specific students and award recipients at each specific location. The original trophy will also have a distinction of having engraved the date of college graduation. Kari was extremely proud of her long lists of students who actually went to college and completed the dream. For this reason, the perpetual trophy will have that distinction alone. The trophy was made to symbolize both Kari and keira Lyn with the Hawaiian hibiscus flower which is indigenous to the islands. Kari loved the beach and Kauai was her favorite place to go. We have chosen the flower and its brilliant spectrum of colors to represent the faith, hope, and love that embodied both Kari and Keira Lyn. As the years pass, we hope to engrave hundreds of names and completion dates on the site trophies and the original. With their names engraved we hope to support individuals who will some day return the gifts they have been given by following in Kari's and the foundations footprints on this earth.
